Chasing Rabbit

early morning in the forest, near the river, there was a group of bunnies hopping around looking for food.
Not far from there, there's a girl who are hiding behind the bushes, waiting the perfect time to catch one of them..

"I want that lil bunny over there.."she said, still waiting behind the bushes

"So you like...bunnies?" Julian was suddenly right by her side.

"whose that?"
she turned back and a man is just behind her, she can feel that he's not a normal human

"If you're-and you will- going to ask why I'm here, it's because you are. Simple as that." Devin called, suddenly leaning against a tree roughly 20 yards away. He seemed to be examining his fingernails but they were extremely neat and clean, so it was more of a habit.

[20 yard supposed to be far right? so I wouldnt be able to hear youe voice..?]

the smallest rabbit went out from the group, its moving towards the direction of the river which was just a few meters away from the place they are currently in. A moment later, a splashing sound of can be heard.

"huh? Did you hear that?"
she look through the bushes again searching for the lil rabbit that she wanted to catch.
Realized that its wasnt in the group, she ran to the river.She looked back to Julian and shout

"I think the lil rabbit fell to the river, I'm going to save it!"

Before she could say another word Julian was fishing out the rabbit. For just a second he was under the water then he and the rabbit were on the land. He lowered his ear to the rabbit. "It'll be fine...just needs a few moments to rest."

she was surprised, Julian which supposed to be far behind her in split second has already saved the rabbit, and now they are on land. Confused, between fear and awed of his skills, not a word came out from her mouth.She just crouch down and use a handkerchief she has with her to dry the rabbit's wet drench body

pick some berries from the trees, she took one and place it a few cm away from the rabbit.

"If it can come and eat it, then I think it should be fine.."
